No Orbán Day

1 February 2011. (5–7 pm), Hungary, 1088 Budapest:  Szentkirályi street 18. Fidesz Headquarters(1)
Demonstration for democracy

1 February 1946: Hungary became a republic form of government instead of kingdom (The 2nd Hungarian Republic (2))

Today, the Democrats need to act again, because we again have a politician who is authoritarian, dictatorial, so the 3rd Hungarian Republic is in danger.

Recites a poem:
Akos Kertesz, Kossuth Prize writer

Gaspar Miklos Tamas, a philosopher
Laszlo Marton, a writer
We are convinced that the manner of enacting the deeply antidemocratic laws, that have been solely created to make, in all ways, the ruling party’s authority irremovable, is a pusillanimous political attitude of this party. Our duty is to save the idea of the Republic and to openly express our protestation against the democrature.

"NO ORBAN DAY!" action is inspired by "NO BERLUSCONI DAY"(3) of the Italian Democratic friends for drawing attention to the fact that the fight against the authoritarian adventurers is deeded everywhere in Europe.
