His Holiness the Dalami Lama in Hungary governed by hate and revenge

Democracy, human and civil rights are in danger in Hungary

Civilians in Budapest who fear for human right are organizing a rally to the initiative of the Budapest organization of the Nagy Imre Társaság on occasion of the visit of His Holiness the Dalai Lama(1) who symbolises these rights. They want to deliver their protest message to the local and national public respecting human and civil rights.
They are demonstrating against the results of the Orban Government’s intuitions and plans:
- Against the sanction that enables children to be sent to prison
- Against the Prosecution work adapted to the elections by political order, the cleansings, conceptual processes
- Against unreasonable, arbitrary detention for months or years, without any judgment
- Against the media law that is threatening the freedom of media and speech and against the centralized (single-party) management
- Against the gypsy ghettos
- Against the ban of homeless people from the cities
- Against the arbitrary and one party modification of the constitution
- Against the institutes discrimination of gypsies, Xenophobia, them turning  a blind eye to growth of racism, neo fascist parties, military organizations

They want to remind you that the moral lessons of the XX. Century don’t let us forget the irretrievable, serious errors and the political methods and institutions (prosecutor, court) responsible.

Besides the Papp László Sport Arena, at the junction of the Hungária körút és a Kerepesi út, at the No 2 (red) Metro’s Hungária körút entrance at the pavement (bazaar lines)
8.30 – 12.00. – Speeches, music
12.00 – march to the building of the General Prosecutor’s Office. The route is: Kerepesi road Rákóczi út, tér Blaha Louise, Teresa Boulevard, V. dist. Marko utca 16 Here, again, speeches will be given.
