Vigil at Budapest’s Heroes’ Square

6 March 2010, 10 am to 5 pm

Roma rights organizations, anti-fascist activists and public figures keep vigil at the central memorial on the Heroes' Square in Budapest.

We commemorate:
the past - the victims of the Holocaust,
the present - the innocent victims of the Roma murders,
and we are concerned about our future.

We protest!
Against the recurring parade of neo-Nazis on the Heroes’ Square.
Against the registration of the neo-Nazi National Revolutionary Party (NRP).
Against Racism, Antiziganism, anti-Semitism, homophobia and any kind of exclusion threatening to rise around the country, institutionalizing step-by-step and turning violent.

With our action, we enable the people of Budapest to express their condolences to the bereaved families of murder victims. To help their cause, we are starting a fund-raising action.

At the vigil we expect to see all democrats, anti-fascists and humanists, and all people who refuse Nazism and are committed to tolerance!

Please register yourself if you can be part of changing of the guard at
